Professional profile

GIS Specialist | Topographic Surveying | Data Integration and Risk Assessment |  Science Communication and Public Engagement

I graduated in Geological Sciences from the University “La Sapienza” of Rome. My research focuses on the integration and analysis of archaeological, environmental, and topographic data through GIS platforms, as well as on the application of advanced technologies for the survey and documentation of cultural heritage.

I am particularly interested in developing and testing innovative methodologies for the digitization and management of cultural assets, with specific expertise in:

  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for spatial analysis and territorial modeling.
  • Topographic survey techniques using GPS and Total Station for mapping archaeological structures.
  • Integrated analysis of environmental and archaeological data for risk assessment and conservation planning.

In recent years, I have participated in national and international projects, including:

  • Risk Management Plan of Chan Chan (Trujillo, Peru): multidisciplinary analysis and HBIM methodology, a bilateral project between CNR and CONCYTEC.
  • Operational intervention for the archaeological complex of Chan Chan: knowledge, enhancement, and promotion, an international archaeological mission co-funded by MAECI.
  • Housing in Roman Italy and the Mediterranean context – Research at the Roman villa of Cottanello and in Sabina, an institute project funded by FOE.

In addition to research, I am actively involved in science outreach initiatives and communication of research results, as part of the Third Mission. Since June 2023, I have been a member of the Dissemination Working Group of Area Roma 1, serving as CNR ISPC representative at the Rome office.
