She earned a PhD with a curriculum in Environment and Cultural heritage at Sapienza University of Rome, with a project focussing on climate-induced risk assessment in historic libraries. She authored scientific papers on the study of microclimate data and building dynamic simulation for the preventive conservation of cultural heritage.
