An interoperable platform for aRchaeologIcAl sites: conservatioN, eNvironmental design and wider Accessibility after covid

PNRR M4C2: PRIN 2022

Acronym: ARIANNA

Description

The project aims to experiment a 3D digital platform for the management of archaeological built heritage, to intertwine conservation, enhancement and fruition needs. The output will be an integrated and interoperable 3D digital environment that allows to optimize the real-time sharing, in collaborative and secure way, of information related to the knowledge and the state of conservation. In this context, ISPC will be responsible for designing thematic forms with information related to material knowledge and diagnostics, and monitoring for conservation risk assessment.

The platform will be a model working tool able to guide conservators in decision making processes for the conservation of the archaeological built heritage, from single buildings to larger areas, also considering social and cultural relations and thus facilitating a dialogue among administrators, conservators and tourists.
