Description
CHANGES aims at promoting cross-disciplinary research and synergies to support the development of innovative long-term strategies for the interpretation, understanding, preservation, and valorization of tangible and intangible Cultural Heritage. CHANGES promotes the development of the twin digital and green transition heritage-based solutions, and intends to reduce social and economic inequalities.
The extended partnership consisting of 11 Universities, 4 Research Institutions, 3 Schools of hight education, 6 Enterprises, 1 Center of Excellence: a multi-technological and transdisciplinary ecosystem for education, research, technology transfer related to humanistic culture and cultural heritage.
CNR takes part in the CHANGES project through the Institute of Heritage Science (ISPC) as lead institute together with the Institute for Applied Mathematics “Mauro Picone” (IAC); the Institute for Computational Linguistics “A. Zampolli” (ILC); the National Institute of Optics (INO); the Institute of Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials (IPCB); the Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate (ISAC); the Institute of Information Science and Technologies “Alessandro Faedo” (ISTI); the Institute of Chemical Sciences and Technologies “Giulio Natta” (SCITEC); the Institute “Opera del Vocabolario Italiano” (OVI).
CHANGES project is organized in 9 thematic functional spokes, widening the full range of activities of the innovation partnership and representing the building blocks of the innovation system in Cultural Heritage:
Building a multidisciplinary investigation model able to support the action of protection, valorization and sustainable transformation of historical landscapes.
