Professional profile
Applied Geophysics | Ground-Penetrating Radar | Seismic and Electrical Imaging | 2D/3D Subsurface Modeling | Geophysical Data Integration & Inversion | Geoarchaeology and Heritage Diagnostics
With a degree in Geological Sciences and a PhD in Environmental and Resource Geology, he conducts research into the development and application of non-invasive geophysical techniques for the analysis and characterization of the subsurface in geological, environmental, and engineering contexts, as well as for applications in geoarchaeological research and cultural heritage conservation studies.
His interests include 2D and 3D modeling and visualization, the integration of geophysical and geological data, advanced digital signal processing and inversion techniques. His expertise includes ground-penetrating radar surveys, seismic prospecting, electrical resistivity tomography and magnetometry, with activities carried out in terrestrial, marine and coastal environments. He contributes to the development of non-invasive methodologies for diagnostic, monitoring and documentation of cultural heritage and participates in national and European research initiatives aimed at innovation in the field of applied geophysics.
He is involved in scientific dissemination, training activities and peer review for national and international journals in the fields of applied geophysics and Heritage science.
