After graduating in Information Science in 1998, he obtained a Master's degree in Cybersecurity & Defense in 2022, acquiring knowledge of the techniques and technologies used to protect the security and protection of data and information processed within a company, carrying out Vulnerability Assessment activities at the CNR ISPC, Catania branch.

He currently provides IT support for research through the development of web applications for database management and implementation, the creation and development of mobile applications, as well as the management and monitoring of the Institute's LAN network in order to ensure minimum requirements in terms of the security of processed and transmitted information (GDPR Privacy Regulation).

He has participated in several study and research campaigns abroad, in Libya, participating in the restoration and digital cataloging of the Misurata Monetary Treasury, also carrying out training activities on IT technologies in the archaeological field at the Archaeological Superintendence of Leptis Magna.

He has been involved in several projects, providing IT support for research through the development of web applications for database management and implementation, and the creation and development of mobile applications for the dissemination of scientific research results and the digital models derived from them.

He currently holds contract teaching positions in the Departments of Political Science, Humanities, and Medical Sciences and Advanced Technologies at the University of Catania for the subjects of Computer Science and Computer Science Laboratory.
