Professional profile
Research Governance | Innovation Management | Programme & Grant Management | Heritage Science | Capacity Building & Training Design | Research Evaluation & Impact Assessment
I operate in the field of research governance and innovation management, with responsibilities in the coordination of complex national, regional and European programmes in the area of Heritage Science and the digital and green transitions.
I have developed consolidated expertise in major research funding instruments (PNRR, PRIN, regional Structural Funds – ERDF/ESF, Horizon Europe, Interreg), working on strategic planning, technical-scientific management and financial oversight of projects, as well as on the definition of organisational models and multi-actor coordination procedures.
Within the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan, I act as organisational and managerial reference for the project CHANGES – Cultural Heritage Active Innovation for Sustainable Society, ensuring alignment between scientific governance, administrative management and operational implementation.
I am engaged in the development of capacity building and innovation programmes for the cultural heritage and cultural and creative industries sectors. Within the EIT Culture & Creativity – CreaTech initiative, I contribute to the design of training pathways for innovation and academic entrepreneurship. With the CNR ISPC Grant Office, I organised training activities dedicated to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. I also carried out the scientific coordination of the SPIDEr project, aimed at training specialised professional profiles and developing decision-support tools.
I was selected as expert evaluator within the PNRR Cascading Calls, participating in the technical-scientific and financial assessment of proposals related to Innovation Ecosystems, including the NODES – Nord Ovest Digitale e Sostenibile Ecosystem, with reference to projects addressing the digital and green transition and cultural heritage valorisation. I also serve as expert evaluator for the Interreg NEXT MED 2021–2027 Programme, assessing proposals in relation to strategic coherence, technical quality, transnational dimension and expected impact.
My interests focus on the integration of cultural heritage, innovation and public policy, with particular attention to territorial resilience and to translating scientific knowledge into sustainable development strategies.
