Senior Geologist Researcher with extensive experience in stratigraphic–geological analysis and subsurface modeling, applied to the study of complex geological systems in seismic, environmental and engineering contexts.
Research activity is primarily focused on the development of integrated subsurface models based on the combination of geological, geophysical and geotechnical data. Scientific expertise includes subsurface interpretation through the integrated analysis of seismic reflection, refraction and tomographic data, well logs and core samples, aimed at reconstructing stratigraphic architectures and structural frameworks controlling subsurface heterogeneity.
The research approach is multidisciplinary, combining classical geology with geophysical methods such as seismic techniques, ground-penetrating radar, electrical and geoelectrical methods and gravity data, integrated with advanced data processing, inversion and modeling tools and supported by 2D and 3D spatial analysis and visualization techniques. This methodological framework is applied in several fields, including seismic microzonation, geophysics applied to archaeology and cultural heritage through non-destructive approaches for the reconstruction of buried structures and their geological context, engineering geology, environmental and hydrogeological studies.
