PASAP Med PhD


CNR ISPC, as the Italian node ERIHS.it of the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science (ERIHS), in agreement with the University of Bari (UNIBA) and the Polytechnic of Bari (POLIBA), promotes the PhD in Programme in Mediterranean Archaeological, Historical, Architectural and Landscape Heritage: Integrated systems of knowledge, planning, preservation and promotion.

This PhD programme is a higher education and scientific research project in the field of Cultural Heritage, coordinated by Giuliano Volpe, with the participation of professors from the University of Salento (UNISALENTO), the University of Foggia (UNIFG) and the University of Basilicata (UNIBAS).

The doctoral course, based in Taranto, aims at training experts with a high scientific profile operating in the research, protection, enhancement, communication and management of Cultural Heritage.

A multi and interdisciplinary preparation support the traditional training in the Archaeological and Architectural field. The young researchers of the PhD programme can use the ISPC facilities, the CNR hub for research, innovation, training and technology transfer in the Cultural Heritage strategic area​​.

Nato tre anni fa su iniziativa dell’Università di Bari, del Politecnico di Bari e del CNR, il dottorato PASAP Med si è esteso a numerosi altri Atenei e quest’anno mette a bando 37 borse di studio, di cui 7 libere (una finanziata dal CNR ISPC) e 30 su temi legati al PNRR. Le tematiche del dottorato riguardano l’archeologia, l’architettura, l’antropologia, la storia dell’arte e la museologia. Il bando scade alle ore 12:00 del 20 luglio 2023.
