Heritage Scientist | Raman Spectroscopist | Material Scientist
She obtained her degree in Chemical Sciences for Conservation and Restoration from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in 2013, and a PhD in Materials Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2022. Since 2020, she has been a researcher at CNR ISPC.
Her research activity is mainly focused on the development and optimization of advanced non-invasive Raman spectroscopy methods, applied to the study of cultural heritage materials. She uses both benchtop and portable instrumentation for the analysis of artworks, historical artifacts and archaeological materials, enabling the identification of constituent materials and their degradation products.
