It will support the joint submission of national and European research proposals and host laboratories and training activities connected to specialized education programs.
The goal is to train highly qualified professionals with advanced skills, including research capabilities, who are able to design and implement innovative projects in Italy and across the broader Mediterranean region — including Mediterranean coastal areas, the Middle East, the Persian Gulf, and the sub-Saharan belt from the Horn of Africa to the Gulf of Guinea.
he project will specifically address:
- The documentation of cultural heritage through certified, high-quality digitization processes;

- The role of craftsmanship in restoration practices;
- The creative potential of new technologies and artificial intelligence applied to cultural heritage.
