He graduated in Cultural Heritage in 2003 from the University of Salento, discussing a thesis on “Survey and technical analysis of ancient monuments”. In 2013, he obtained a PhD in “Ancient Topography” with a thesis entitled “The Roman Bridges of the Via Traiana” Since 2006, he has worked at the CNR (National Research Council)—initially at the IBAM (Institute for Archaeological and Monumental Heritage) and, since 2019, at the ISPC (Institute of Heritage Science) in Lecce. He started with consultancy contracts, becoming a technical assistant in 2014 and a researcher in 2018. He has participated in several national and international projects concerning the study, survey, and development of reconstructive hypotheses for monuments and archaeological sites, aimed at the knowledge, enhancement, and dissemination of Cultural Heritage through information technology.
