Description
Aim of the project is to provide a new ‘perspective’ in the field of heritage and conservation science of modern and contemporary art and design objects containing plastics by an analytical multimodal non-invasive approach for the in-situ study of Cultural Heritage synthetic polymers and plastic materials able to:
1 – Strengthening non-invasive approaches providing a detailed knowledge (of both chemical and mechanical properties) of the plastics and its state of conservation.
2 – To monitor in real time conservation interventions.

Con il Molab nel Museo dell’Occhiale
Dal 2 al 12 settembre presso il Museo dell’Occhiale di Pieve di Cadore (BL) si è svolta una campagna d’analisi diagnostica del laboratorio mobile MOLAB per lo studio in situ della collezione che vi è custodita. L’attività, denominata STATE, Study of the conservation state of the plastic and metal glasses collection of the Museo dell’Occhiale, è resa possibile grazie alla partecipazione dei partner del PRIN PERSPECTIVE che costituiscono centri d’eccellenza di primo piano: CNR SCITEC (sede di Perugia), CNR ISPC (sedi di Roma, Milano e Firenze), l’Università degli Studi di Bologna e il Politecnico di Milano.
