a nuovi metodi di studio non invasivi per la corretta conservazione dei beni culturali. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"uncode_text_column\" ><p>Ne \u00e8 un esempio il metodo <em>micro-Spatially Offset Raman Spectroscopy<\/em> (micro-SORS) applicato nel campo della <em>Heritage Science<\/em> per indagare la presenza di composti al di sotto della superficie di opere d\u2019arte senza danneggiare il manufatto, poter vedere le varie stratificazioni pittoriche o ancora osservare fenomeni di degrado in corso.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div><div class=\"divider-wrapper \"  >\n alt=\"\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"uncode_text_column\" ><p><strong>Il metodo rappresenta l\u2019estensione alla scala micrometrica della tecnica SORS, la cui applicazione alla conservazione dei beni culturali prende origine da un\u2019intuizione di una ricercatrice della sede milanese ISPC<\/strong>, Claudia Conti, durante un congresso del 2010 a Boston quando assiste all\u2019intervento di Pavel Matousek, ideatore del SORS e figura di riferimento internazionale per la spettroscopia Raman.<\/p>\n<p>Questa tecnica, che sfrutta il fenomeno della diffusione anelastica della luce scoperto da un fisico indiano che gli valse il premio Nobel nel 1930, studia le vibrazioni delle molecole di cui \u00e8 fatta la materia per conoscerne la composizione: applicandola ad esempio ad un dipinto \u00e8 possibile identificarne i pigmenti e studiare il loro degrado.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><script id=\"script-row-unique-1\" data-row=\"script-row-unique-1\" type=\"text\/javascript\" ><div class=\"uncont\" ><div class=\"uncode_text_column\" ><p>Claudia Conti, con un dottorato di ricerca in Ingegneria dei Materiali conseguito al Politecnico di Milano, si occupa di sviluppare metodi non-invasivi di spettroscopia Raman applicata ai beni culturali e per concretizzare l\u2019intuizione avvia un&#8217;importante collaborazione con il <a href=\"https:\/\/stfc.ukri.org\/about-us\/where-we-work\/rutherford-appleton-laboratory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Rutherford Appleton Laboratory<\/em><\/a> nel Regno Unito, per estendere la tecnica SORS allo studio non-invasivo delle opere d\u2019arte.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div><div class=\"un-media-gallery owl-carousel-wrapper\">\n\t\t\n\t\n\t<div class=\"owl-carousel-container attivit\u00e0 di ricerca sperimentale, Claudia Conti insieme al suo team sposta il <em>range<\/em> di azione del SORS, adatto per discriminare strati di spessore nell\u2019ordine del millimetro, alla scala dell\u2019arte, dando cos\u00ec vita al micro-SORS<\/strong>, in grado di risolvere per la prima volta strati di spessore micrometrico. Il premio viene lanciato per la prima volta nel 2006, al fine di riconoscere gli sforzi dei giovani spettroscopisti che hanno contribuito in modo significativo allo sviluppo della spettroscopia analitica vibrazionale.<\/p>\n<p>Il premio \u00e8 intitolato a Clara D. Craver, una donna che nella seconda met\u00e0 del XX secolo si distinse per i suoi sforzi pionieristici nel promuovere la spettroscopia vibrazionale infrarossa e per i suoi molti anni di servizio alla
